Job Description
LS Power is seeking a Director, Transmission Regulatory to join their team in Austin, TX. This role will be a key point of contact with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and other key stakeholders, focusing on the impact of transmission regulations and strategic planning. The Director will shape company strategy, support transmission planning, and promote new business opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities. This is a high-visibility role ideal for a strategic leader comfortable with policy, regulation, and business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Law/Legal Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in utility regulation, public policy, or a related area.
- Experience engaging in PUCT contested proceedings and ERCOT stakeholder processes.
- Deep knowledge of FERC, PUCT, and ERCOT regulations and processes.
- Experience with transmission planning, rate-making, or regulatory proceedings.
