Job Description
LS Power is seeking a highly skilled OT Network Security Engineer to join their 24/7 Operations Group. The role focuses on ensuring NERC/CIP compliance, maintaining secure and reliable network operations, and supporting critical business functions within the Bulk Electric System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operational Technology (OT) security, network administration, and compliance within a SCADA environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network administration within a transmission utility or SCADA operational environment.
- Strong background in networking concepts and connectivity.
- Experience maintaining security and compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with configuring and managing multiple vendor hardware.
- Active CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (minimum 1 year of experience).
- Active CCNP (preferred, 2+ years of experience).
- Operational technology experience within a SCADA or utility sector (within the last 2-3 years).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 24/7 on-call experience with effective time and change management.
