Job Description
Lucid is seeking an Sr. Thermal Engineer to join their HVAC & Thermal team. The role focuses on developing advanced thermal management and HVAC systems, assisting in system-level modeling and simulation, and contributing to reduced-order model development. Lucid emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and a welcoming community for innovators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Thermal Sciences, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in thermal systems modeling, simulation, or testing (internships or co-op experience considered).
- Familiarity with 1D modeling tools (GT-SUITE, Simulink, or similar) and basic proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
- Foundational understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
