Job Description
Lumentum Canada is seeking an Embedded Software DevSecOps Co-op/Intern to contribute to the ongoing development of automated solutions for next-generation optical transport products. The role involves solving complex technical problems, collaborating with Firmware R&D teams, and improving firmware and hardware tests.
Requirements
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong object-oriented software design and implementation (any language)
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bash, PowerShell, C#, Python, Javascript, XML, gRPC, Jira
- Experience in instrumentation and automation
- Understanding of optical systems
- Experience with optical instruments and optical fibers
