The Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the facility in repair and in clean and orderly condition, including performing basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical services. The role requires good interpersonal skills, time management skills, and flexibility to work some holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in building maintenance or a related field
- Related to or experience with families, and the homeless population (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of plaster, sheet rock, painting, plumbing, window balances/window repairs, locksmith, tile work, electrical work
- Good interpersonal skills
- Time Management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments at once, and flexibility
- Proficient knowledge of Internet Navigation, E-mail, and Microsoft Word
