Lynker Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Northeast Fisheries data debriefer to join their team and support their staffing and recruiting operations. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Biology/Management, or a related field, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. The role will involve reviewing and editing electronic data uploads, contacting observers to verify inconsistencies, and maintaining records on individual observers.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Biology/Management, or a related field
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Previous experience performing as a Fisheries observer is preferred
- UNIX based computers and network systems
- Ability to perform at-sea observer related duties
- Mentoring training or experience
- Conflict resolution training or experience
- Program planning and management in a team environment
- Developing performance metrics and milestones
- Working with diverse interagency teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in GIS, website development, SAS, statistical packages, Oracle, and SQL programming language
