DUIP Certified/Registered Alcohol & Drug Counselor (On-call)

Part-time DUIP Certified/Registered Alcohol & Drug Counselor position available at MAAC, a nonprofit social service organization in Chula Vista, CA. The role involves case management, counseling, and education for individuals convicted of DUI offenses. Requirements

• Conduct group enrollments and individual reinstatements
• Develops treatment objectives and goals for program participants
• Audits participant files
• Leads group counseling discussions
• Conducts Education classes following the established curriculum
• Monitors timely fee payments by participants
• Conducts individual counseling interviews
• Contacts participants via telephone/written correspondence
• Properly documents all levels of program participation in the participants' case file
• Provides on-going monitoring of the participants' compliance with program's rules and regulations
