Lead Teacher EHS (Laurel Tree)

MAAC is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide high-quality, personalized care to infants and toddlers in a Head Start program. The role involves supervising daily activities, maintaining a safe learning environment, and collaborating with parents. MAAC is a large, nonprofit organization serving low-income and special needs families in California.

Requirements

• Knowledge of early childhood education, child development, and anti-bias education
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) speaking, reading, and writing skills (preferred)
• Valid State of California Child Development Associate (CDA) or CDA credential
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications
• Physical and mental stamina for demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and frequent standing/walking
