Recovery Home (Women's) Certified/Registered Alcohol & Drug Counselor (NIGHT SHIFT)

MAAC is seeking a certified or registered alcohol and drug counselor to work in a recovery home for women. The position is a full-time, overnight shift position from 9:30pm to 6:30am. The counselor will be responsible for case management, counseling, and support services to residents. The position requires a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record.

Requirements

• Knowledge of alcoholism and a general understanding of the Twelve Step programs
• Counseling skills and ability to conduct individual interviews and group discussions
• Case management skills and ability to record participant progress
• Effective communication skills and ability to communicate with program participants, staff, and community groups
