Job Description
Senior-level Mechanical Engineer position required. Must be a U.S. citizen and have a valid driver's license. Must also have a P.E. license and 5+ years of experience in developing P&IDs, designing chilled water systems, and working on DoD projects.
Requirements
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Experience in developing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), designing chilled water systems, performing pipe sizing calculations, and preparing equipment specifications and procurement documents for waste processing, nuclear, refinery, power, or chemical process facilities.
- Experience developing custom equipment packages, including skid-mounted systems and specialty items such as security doors.
- Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) projects and with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs).
- Experience working under quality assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1 or AS9100D.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
