We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Mable team and leverage their expertise in data science to improve services for customers. The role requires a blend of technical prowess, strategic thinking, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for researching, improving, and developing machine learning models and utilising generative AI solutions to optimise external and internal customer-facing tools and processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in providing data science solutions
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques
- Worked on projects leveraging traditional AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI
- Familiarity with various aspects of Generative AI, including context engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration and evaluation
- Experience with modern Agentic AI Frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
- Design and implement AI safety guardrails to ensure trustworthy, compliant model behaviour in production
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub
- Proficiency in ML model development and analytics tools such as Python
- Familiarity with data visualisation and data storytelling
- Initiative and ownership to deliver work with autonomy
- Collaboration skills to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders
- A "solutions mindset" of natural curiosity and a strong motivation to solve problems, no matter how complicated or ambiguous they might be
- Comfort with ambiguity, a fast-paced environment, and rapid business growth
