Job Description
SUNY Onondaga Community College is recruiting for a Electromechanical (Mechatronics) Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty position. The successful candidate will teach college-level courses and laboratories in content areas such as circuit design and analysis, digital electronics, microprocessor, programmable logic controllers, robotics, and industrial automation. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, curriculum development, and participation on committees.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or closely-allied field
- Industry-recognized professional license or certification
- Minimum of five years of full-time related industry experience
- Background in teaching college-level courses
- Demonstrated connections with local industry
- Industrial Experience: Robotics, FANUC, Universal Robots, Automation, PLC, Motors & motion control
