Deputy Medical Examiner

The Deputy Medical Examiner is responsible for performing post-mortem examinations, investigating and identifying cause of death, and testifying as an expert witness in court. The position requires a graduate of a medical school or college, completion of a training program in anatomic pathology, and one year of experience in the medical examiner and/or forensic field.
