Accounting Clerk

Maddox is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to provide accounts payable function, accounting for Cash, AP, AR, and assist in the month end close process through the completion of journal entries and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Onboard new vendors, maintain vendor records and the AP inbox, enter bills, and establish payment terms
• Track actual and project forecasted CapEx spend in coordination with the construction team
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, research account variance, and carry out other month end close tasks
• Complete required filings for state taxes, business licenses, and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and GAAP
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assistance with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests
