Job Description
Maddox is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. The successful candidate will prepare and file corporate tax returns, research tax issues, support planning initiatives, and assist with audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience preparing C-Corp tax returns
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
