2nd Line F404 Technician - Saguenay, QC

Magellan Aerospace is seeking a 2nd line F404 Technician to support the F404-GE-400 Engine/Modules/Accessories at the Bagotville Canadian Forces Base in Saguenay, Quebec. The role involves testing, repair, and maintenance, with a focus on the F404-GE-400 engine and related systems. Magellan prioritizes employee development and professional growth.

Requirements

• 3-7 years’ experience with hands-on maintenance on the F404-GE-400/-402 engine.
• Detailed system-level knowledge of the F404-GE-400/-402 engine.
• Understanding of DND’s Technical Airworthiness program (or civilian equivalent).
• Understanding of the CF-18/F404 Maintenance Program
• Experience working with DMS, CBMSS, IETM, etc.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Passed a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program and obtain and maintain a Contract Security clearance at the Secret Status level
