Military and Family Life Counselor - Adults or Children

Provides non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to military service members and their families. Delivers training and health and wellness presentations. Works closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a mental health related field
• Valid unrestricted independent counseling license
• 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
• Intermediate-level competencies in technology and software
• Ability to engage and communicate with military members or children
• Pass a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) Clearance, an Installation Records Check (IRC), Criminal Background Check, and FBI Fingerprints Check
