Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Maintenance Technician - Night Shift job description. The incumbent will troubleshoot machinery problems, monitor electrical and mechanical devices, and continuously improve run time efficiency. Magnera's purpose is to better the world with new possibilities made real.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years Maintenance work experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2 year Technical degree is related area (preferred)
• Basic understanding of electrical knowledge (preferred)
• Basic electrical/electronic circuit knowledge
• Understanding of paper waste recovery, baler, and cyclone system (preferred)
• Working knowledge of motor control systems, PLCs, and communications systems
• Working knowledge of relay and ladder logic
• Working knowledge of production and support equipment
• Ability to read prints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics
• Machine roller and component rigging for overhead crane use
• Safe working knowledge on use of shop tools including lathe, mill, press, welder, and saws
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer competency including email and Microsoft office
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure independently and as part of a team
