Fitness/Gym Attendant

The Fitness/Gym Attendant will oversee members and guests as they participate in fitness and sports programs at The Kroc Center in Salem, OR. The position requires ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and customer service of the fitness area, gymnasium, or Rockwall. The Fitness Attendant will also be responsible for selling members fitness programs and equipment.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to fill-in for co-workers as the work schedule requires
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment
• Ability to initiate code blue emergency call or respond to an emergency situation if one arises
• Ability to cultivate teamwork
• Good judgment
• Comfortable working with members and guests of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
