Job Description
Main Street America (MSA) is a leading organization focused on re-energizing downtowns and building community through place-based economic development and preservation. This role is part of a growing Government Relations team aiming to scale and deepen impact in communities across the nation. The Manager of Government Relations will advance MSA’s policy agenda through legislative monitoring, analysis, advocacy, and coalition engagement.
Requirements
- Lead MSA’s Advocacy Community of Practice.
- Track emerging and passed federal legislation.
- Draft public comments and policy briefs.
- Manage complex projects and improve organizational systems.
- Travel periodically to national and statewide conferences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationships-building skills.
- Analytical and judgement skills.
