CNA (Days, Long-term Care)

Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide daily nursing care and services to residents in their Long-term Care wing. The organization is an independent nonprofit dedicated to serving veterans and their families, recognized by the American Health Care Association for achievement in quality. The role emphasizes resident safety and effective communication with the care team.

Requirements

• Active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
• Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in job duties
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English
• Basic computer skills
