CNA (Evenings, Skilled Care)

Maine Veterans’ Homes is hiring full-time CNAs (3-11p) for its Skilled Care wing, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families. The role involves providing daily nursing care and services based on resident assessments and Care Plans, prioritizing resident safety and team communication. They strive to be the provider and employer of choice, honoring veterans and focusing on veteran advocacy.

Requirements

• Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
• Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs in English
• Basic computer skills
