Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Make is a leading visual platform for design, building, and automating tasks. They are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to focus on cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and scalability. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while continuously improving service reliability and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in managing and operating Linux/Unix-based infrastructure
• Knowledge of at least one cloud provider, ideally AWS
• Day-to-day experience with a container orchestration platform (preferably Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (i.e. ArgoCD, Gitlab pipelines, Github actions, etc.) and various deployment strategies such as canary
• Deep understanding of Service Level Indicators (SLI), Service Level Objectives (SLO), and Service Level Agreements (SLA) and their application in ensuring service reliability
• Effective communication skills in English, as the team operates internationally
• Openness to share knowledge, mentor & grow other engineers
• Continuously educate yourself to help shape the long-term vision
