Job Description
Mambu is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their fintech team, focusing on modernizing their core product platform. The role involves migrating components to React, designing scalable architectures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, remote position within a Product Engineering org.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, ideally within a SaaS or FinTech environment
- Expert proficiency in React and TypeScript, coupled with strong API expertise
- Demonstrable experience with Java (or similar JVM languages) for building backend systems
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient application architecture
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and working with publicly exposed API platforms
- Strong testing knowledge (Jest, Playwright, Selenium,or similar) including experience in designing and maintaining testing frameworks, and solid practical experience with relational databases (MySQL)
