Requirements

• Conducting comprehensive patient history assessments
• Measuring visual acuity for both near and distance vision
• Performing automated lensometry with precision
• Conducting preliminary eye examinations
• Administering specialized tests
• Performing Auto Refraction and basic manual refractometry
• Accurately conducting Applanation Tonometry
• Executing Fundus Photography with expertise
• Educating patients on eye care procedures and protocols
• Providing clear explanations of procedures
• Demonstrating basic scribing competency
• Identifying and discussing abnormal findings with the physician
• Performing manual lensometry to determine power sphere, cylinder, axis, bifocal, trifocal, and progressive lenses
• Conducting intermediate refractometry with attention to detail
• Recognizing abnormalities during diagnostic testing and communicating them effectively
