Job Description
ManpowerGroup Greece is seeking a Network Security Engineer for their industrial automation technology company, headquartered in Athens. The role involves managing secure, high-availability systems, collaborating with IT teams, and providing network infrastructure support. The position is a hybrid role with 3 days of office and 2 days working remotely.
Requirements
- University Degree or vocational diploma in IT
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in network engineering or administration
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment
- Strong experience with iptables/nftables, Open Connect, OpenVPN, bash, nmap, tcpdump
- Expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Analytical thinking and autonomy
- Team-oriented mindset and communication skills
- Good command of English
- Ability to work in a team
- Linux-based systems and shell scripting
- VMware, vSphere, Proxmox
