Job Description
The Software Integration and Technology Specialist role is a technical position that involves configuring and implementing JBT Marel Software solutions for customers. The role requires good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with technical concepts such as XML, XSLT, and XSD.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in IT
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems on PCs and Servers
- Knowledge of Python (C#, Java would be a plus)
- MS SQL Database knowledge and 3 or more years of experience with SQL
- Ability to troubleshoot network problems including TCP/IP, Ethernet, cabling, switches
- Understanding of: XML, XSLT and XSD
- Ability to document and explain technical concepts
- Knowledge of Integration techniques; file formats, messaging, etc.
- Familiar with remote access-related hardware/software utilities/service products
- Experience with Label designing, 1d and 2d barcodes, GS1 standards
- Experience configuring and deploying Marel Software or similar software
