The Civil Engineer provides important engineering expertise for the MCDOT TIP and MIP. The primary role is to assist the Senior Standards and Review Engineer with maintaining engineering standards, construction specifications, and standard details.
Requirements
- Three years of professional engineering experience with transportation projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration or by the technical board of another state, with the ability to obtain Arizona registration within six months of employment
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire and have an acceptable driving record
