Preschool Assistant Teacher (Aide)

Mariners Church Preschool (MCP) is seeking a warm, dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to create a loving and Christ-centered environment for children in the 3-5 year old age group. The role involves supporting teachers, managing classrooms, supervising children, and building relationships with both children and parents. The church is focused on inspiring people to follow Jesus and fearlessly change the world.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Interest in early childhood education and a desire to learn and grow.
• Meets Title 22 requirements for assistant teachers in a licensed child care center.
• Minimum of 2 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
• 6 months of experience in a licensed child care center preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Record of immunizations.
• Clear Live Scan and Criminal Background check.
• Able to work a consistent weekly 8 hour schedule within center hours.
