Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Recovery Technician on the Night Shift in Hannibal, Missouri. The role involves adhering to client rights, displaying professional boundaries, and monitoring vital signs. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED and experience in the human services field is preferred.
Requirements
- Adhere to all client rights, including confidentiality
- Display appropriate ethical boundaries with consumers
- Behave in a professional and courteous manner with co-workers and others
- Meet all applicable Mark Twain Behavioral Health standards and state regulations
- Document client-related activities in a timely manner
- Conduct intake/discharge process for persons entering/leaving the MTBH Recovery programs
- Orient consumers to the program they are entering
- Conduct assessments for consumers admitted to Withdrawal Management and Crisis Stabilization programs
- Monitor and document in consumer records in accordance with tasks performed or behavior observed
- Monitor vital signs of consumers receiving services
- Collect and monitor the Consumer’s samples for Urine Analysis testing
- Report to the Recovery Technician Supervisor when rules are broken
- Monitor Consumers during structured activities within the community and on MTBH property
- Conduct educational groups as assigned
- Maintain clean and safe work conditions within the agency
- Work with co-staff to create a fair program staff schedule
- Transport Consumers as scheduled and assigned by the clinical team
- Record hours worked in BambooHR Timesheet accurately
- Attend/complete various trainings as assigned and mandatory staff meetings
- Other tasks as assigned by the Recovery Technician Supervisor, Program Directors, or Clinical Director of Recovery Services
