Software Engineer - Integrations

Mark43 is a software company that builds modern, resilient software for public safety agencies. We're looking for a Software Engineer focused on integrations who can design and build robust, scalable solutions that bridge our platform with third-party systems.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with at least part of our stack: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript + React, and MySQL
• A solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, or message queues (Kafka a plus)
• Interest or experience in AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM APIs
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with both internal and external stakeholders
• A pragmatic approach to solving technical challenges and delivering value incrementally
