Job Description
Markforged is transforming manufacturing through its digital platform, combining software, materials, and 3D printers. The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance by evaluating suppliers and leading root cause corrective actions. This role involves close collaboration with supply chain, operations, and suppliers.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of Hardware or Materials quality experience
- BS degree in Engineering or a related field
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S, Six Sigma, and Kanban Systems
- Technical writing skills including quality procedures and test plans
- Experience with data analysis techniques
- Experience auditing ISO 9001 Systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites (up to 10% travel)
