Job Description
The School Psychologist conducts evaluations to determine special education eligibility and serves as a contributing member on Individual Education Program (IEP) teams. The School Psychologist leads, supports, and assists in the implementation of a comprehensive Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) within local school districts.
Requirements
- Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist and licensed, as required, by the State of Michigan
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to independently problem-solve, schedule daily activities, model good communication, and communicate and work effectively with school district staff and students
