Material Handler (Pardo)

The Material Handler role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. This role will operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area.

Requirements

• Always operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform periodic and routine inventories of raw materials in storage
• Provide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
• Assist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activity in other areas as directed
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation procedures
• Provide functional communication with other staff members as necessary to optimize quality, efficiency, productivity and safety
• Loading trucks, live loads and staged loads
• Ability to operate Forklift – (Expert Level)
• Direct ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released product
• WMS, BOL responsibility / accountability
• Support Warehouse Area Lead with all activities associated with shipping department
