Job Description
This position is for a Night Shift Equipment Operator/Utility Person within the Davis Quarry plant. The role involves safely performing cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation, including monitoring plant conditions, lubricating equipment, maintaining plant housekeeping, operating equipment, and performing routine maintenance. The position requires adhering to safety regulations and contributing to a strong team environment.
Requirements
- Monitor plant conditions
- Grease and lubricate plant equipment
- Operate plant mobile heavy equipment (haul truck, motor grader, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant & equipment
- Load and unload company trucks
- Read gauges/dials and make decisions
- Perform pre-shift safety inspections
- Work independently and with minimal supervision
