Intern, Production (Summer 2026)

This is an internship opportunity with Martin Marietta to assist in the production of aggregates. The intern will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, assisting with blasting and lay-out processes, and learning about the operation of an aggregate mine. The intern will work within company policies and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Adheres to and enforces ethical, safety and environmental measures
• Operates and maintains equipment
• Assists in the blasting process
• Becomes familiar with the operations of an Aggregate Mine
• Becomes familiar with the traits of high-performing managers in Martin Marietta
• Works in a fast-paced production environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
