Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Clinical Specialist (Outpatient)-Full Time Days

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, post-graduate residency or fellowship, and experience in Oncology. The role will involve providing pharmaceutical care at the bedside or in the clinic, participating in committees, and improving pharmaceutical processes and treatments.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree and post-graduate residency or fellowship
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• CPR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Three years hospital experience with enhanced clinical responsibilities or one year of same and completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency or research fellowship
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work with computers
• Experience providing drug information and performing pharmacokinetics
• Certified or Board Eligible for Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties
• Recent experience in Oncology area of focus
• Epic Beacon and/or Willow experience, preferred
