Field Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction

MasTec Civil is hiring a Field Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. The Field Engineer will assist the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendents to engineer, plan, and schedule construction operations. The role requires thorough knowledge of project plans and specifications, preliminary and temporary work design, field layout and drawings, field operations planning, forecasting, cost and quantity tracking, operations scheduling, and interaction with field and office personnel.

Requirements

• 4-year degrees in engineering / construction management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience and a minimum of 4 years similar construction engineering and/or surveying experience
• Excellent management and supervisory skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in database and project controls computer application systems, MS Excel, MS Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
