Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator / Dozer

MasTec Civil is hiring experienced Excavator and Dozer - Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team in Hollywood, FL. The role involves operating heavy construction equipment, performing daily safety and operational inspections, and ensuring regular maintenance of the equipment. The Operator will be responsible for all safety aspects of operating the equipment and must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.

Requirements

• Proficiency in handling, pre-start inspections, post-start inspections, maneuvering skills, shut down and securing procedures
• Ability to work various shifts in a team environment
• Daily safety and operational inspection of the equipment
• Regular maintenance of the assigned equipment
• Ability to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely
• Ability to load trucks as needed
