The Production Planner role is responsible for monitoring and addressing all forms of demand for finished assemblies and sub-assemblies in Buffalo, while also managing planning aspects related to inter-company business and partnering with Procurement to secure availability of non-precious raw materials.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree – minimum requirement, preferable focus on Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing industry in a Supply Chain Management related role (Production Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management).
- At least 2 years’ experience using ERP software is a must, SAP preferred.
- Detail-oriented and possess the ability to follow through on issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
- Capable of working independently.
- Willingness to participate in continued education opportunities to enhance skills and proficiency.
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and people skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and Outlook.
