Mechanical Design Engineer

Matic is a consumer robotics product company that aims to automate household labor with fully autonomous, useful, elegant, and affordable robots. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team to work on end-to-end design and manufacturing of parts and sub-assemblies.

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2 - 5 years of professional mechanical design engineering experience on a product (preferably B to C) that is shipping in high volume
• Understanding of materials and high-volume manufacturing methods such as Injection Molding
• Proficiency in using Solidworks modeling 3D CAD design software
• Comfort with PDM, PLM and Engineering Change Management and Quality Management systems
• Knowledge of GD&T, finite element analysis and design for reliability concepts
• Comfort with fast-paced, startup atmosphere
• High level of maturity, ownership, and pride in your work
