Job Description
Operates Fabrication Shop machinery and equipment, reads job specifications, and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements
- Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment
- Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools
- Certification and ability to operate Forklift
- Strong organizational skills
- Must possess a valid safety training card
- Must complete the Matrix Service Basic Safety training and Process Safety Management training
- Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Moderate computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and database applications
- Ability to interact and communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment
