Job Description
Matterworks is building AI tools to extract insights from biological data. We are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Scientist to design and build core deep learning models.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying deep learning models
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch and NumPy
- Proven experience in designing and implementing novel neural network architectures
- Experience with machine learning for spectral analysis, structure prediction, or molecular representation learning
- Familiarity with scientific data formats (e.g., HDF5, mzML, Zarr)
