Job Description
The Production Worker 3rd Shift is responsible for producing continuous quality parts, ensuring compliance to ISO 9001, and assisting in 6s and lean manufacturing practices. The role involves independently operating machines, equipment, and producing production parts to required tolerances, and utilizing various hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations
- Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed
- Comply to ISO 9001
- Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents
- Communicate with internally concerning deviations or general request
- Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices
- Verify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations
- Complete reports as necessary internally
- Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances
- Read and comprehend customer specification sheets
- Anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed
- Utilize various hand tools, including but not limited to air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate speed with production flow
- Demonstrate acceptable level of capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation
- Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager
- Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
- Follow direction and product required quantities
