Job Description
Maveris is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the Department of State in Washington, DC. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise network systems, providing firewall management, routing protocols expertise, and security implementation. Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- CCNA or CCNP required
- 8–10 years of enterprise IT systems and network administration experience
- Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Experience with Panorama Firewall Management and Palo Alto Networks products
- Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, static routes, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, multicast)
- Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, Linux, VMware virtualization, and SAN/RAID storage solutions
- Proven experience developing and implementing network security solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
