Job Description
May Mobility is seeking an Autonomy Release Engineer II to join their Japan site. This role involves enabling successful deployment of solutions to complex system-level issues for May’s autonomous vehicle systems. The role requires a strong engineering mindset, ability to adapt quickly to new situations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. They are focusing on the creation of the best autonomy system for reimagining transit in a safety and accessible world.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in autonomous robotics system engineering
- Experience navigating uncertainty and bringing stakeholders from different organizations together
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or an applied engineering field
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Experience using analysis to form conclusions and communicating to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive to 'see for yourself' and identify challenges
- Project management experience
- License to drive on public roads in Japan
