Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - RN

This part-time Registered Nurse position is open to newly graduated nurses with less than 12 months of practice experience. All nurses, regardless of experience, will participate in a structured orientation program. Registered Nurses will support nursing care, including direct patient care and patient/family education, and will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Care Model. Leadership and training opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and the continuum of care.
• Participate in preceptor role, informal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, acuity, and resources.
