Assistant Project Manager - Residential Land Development

McAdams is a full-service land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation and geomatics firm seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead project teams, oversee design and production, and coordinate with subconsultants. The role involves mentoring junior staff, managing resources, and building client relationships.

Requirements

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
• EI required; PE or on track to obtaining PE strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in civil site design or related field
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering design software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to mentor and guide team members effectively
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on service quality and business development
