Job Description
McAdams is seeking a Designer I to support water/wastewater project teams in planning, report generation, hydraulic modeling, and CAD production. This role is a foundational position, crucial for future growth, and emphasizes reliability, strong design skills, and attention to detail. The position involves both office and field work with data gathering and design implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or progressing toward FE/PE certification
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar 3D drafting software
- Familiarity with GIS systems
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, effective time management, and teamwork
