Job Description
McAllister Towing of New York Harbor is seeking a Warehouse/Purchasing Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including purchasing, inventory management, and quality control. The role involves developing strategic plans, working with shipping departments, and verifying purchase orders. The company has been a major player in New York Harbor since 1864.
Requirements
- BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics; Or minimum 10 years’ experience as a Purchasing Manager or Agent
- Experience with vendor management software
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Strong negotiation and networking skills
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
